Optima Health (formerly Healthwork) Clinical Academy are excited to launch their new Faculty of Occupational Medicine (FOM) approved Diploma in Occupational Health Practice course (for nurses) running parallel with the Diploma in Occupational Medicine course (for doctors).

Both courses are extensive 2 week Faculty of Occupational Medicine approved courses delivered online that will teach you everything you need to know about occupational health in the workplace. Attendance at this course will provide you with the CPD certificate that you are required to submit to the FOM to sit the Diploma in Occupational Medicine and the Diploma in Occupational Health Practice exams.

Delivered by our expert panel of Occupational Health Physicians (Dr Dil Sen, Dr Tok Hussain, Dr David Gidlow, Dr James Quigley, Dr Philip McIlroy), and supported by our senior nurse team. This panel includes the former Academic Dean of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine, as well as an ex-Chief Examiner and several current Faculty examiners. As part of the course you will be able to participate in a mock viva and practice MCQs, written by our expert panel to reflect the style in the assessment, to maximise your chances of exam success.

The next course is set for July 2024. The first week will take place Monday 8th July 2024 to Friday 12th July 2024 and the second week will take place Monday 29th July 2024 to Friday 2nd August 2024.
